PostSubject: Forum Facelift   Sat Nov 29, 2008 8:03 pm

Hi guys.

Well, after trying to find an alternative Chatbox, all I could find were many that forced stupid amounts of adverts and popups at people, and I didn't want to do that.

So for the time being, I'm afraid that we're stuck with the same one.
If the bugs in the current Chatbox are too much to bear, let me know and I'll get rid of it until I can find something better.

On the plus side, I've given the forum a lick of paint.
I tried to keep it easy on the eye, and I think it still is.
I need to sort out the title, but I'll wait until Christmas is over before I remove the current one.

Cheers,
Smiley.

Hi Brian,

Chat box is fine for now ... Basketball

Better than to have it than to not have it now that a few of us gotten use to it! Very Happy

since I have vision issues, the only issue, perhaps, that it's too bright. Perhaps a slight shade of gray! sunny

Hi Brian,

Its OK matey.
With Arthritis in my hands and like Ish, poor eyesight I cant keep up with Topics on any chats anyway. Type fast; its gobble-de-gook. type slow; every-one's gone Laughing Laughing .

Your doing exceptionally well my friend, and I can see a lot more users joining us, hopefully it won't get too big, its nice and cosy now.

You might attract a couple of advertisers, put a bit of extra cash in your pocket. So when you become the Managing Director of Arriva Trains, remember your old buddies, a free ticket would be nice Laughing Laughing Laughing .

Cheers
Pete.

Thanks guys.

I've toned down the background colours of the posts to a couple of very light greys, so it should be a little easier to read now.
