| Hi Guys. Nice Photographs Lorin: Kay (My other half) has asked me to tell you "You have very beautiful Daughters", I definitely agree with her. Ish, Sorry about Mickey, I have two black Labradors myself 11 & 8 years old. My last dog reached the grand old age of 16. As you can probably guess. I'm a dog lover. Here's my humble contribution:- Kay, Myself and Grandchildren. Four are not included due to childhood illnesses at the time of the Photo-shoot. The Tribe: Taken at Martin's Wedding (Royal Marine) this July (2008). The same four grandchildren are missing as it was the same week we had the Photo-shoot. Excuse the Welsh-Kilts, Family tradition. You can also see the two original Welsh Dragons, My Mrs and my dear Mother-in-Law. LOL with a big grin.
Nice post Ish, thanks in advance for allowing us all to share it. Cheers Pete. |

PS. Forgot a family member Bear my dog pal, he's an 11 year old Alaskan Malamute, has bad arthritis, but still manages to jump the bones of my moms female mountain dog! Did I mention he's a 105 pound teddy bear!
Good Boy Bear
Hi Lorin,About Bear. You may know this, but if not:- Forget the expensive Vet bills, my oldest dog, Sabre, also has Arthritis in the back legs. I give both my dogs each, one Cod Liver-Oil-Capsule a day, the type you buy for us humans. It has made a vast difference in his mobility, he runs around like a puppy. When my Vet asked about the improvement, I simply told him. He's now added this to his recommendations. I have done this for years, although if Bare is anything like my two, you'll have a job getting him to swallow it whole. Ish; The one you mentioned, sitting on Kay's lap: Apart from being our youngest he's a little Terror, we see him every day and he gets us into fits of laughter by his antics. Anna (Martin's wife) is like the rest of us, worried but getting on with things. Fortunately, they didn't opt for the married quarter option in Plymouth, but decided to keep their home going in Swansea. So we see her daily. Both:Thanks for the comments. We are lucky, we see the boys, their partners, and of course the grand-children every-day. Our house is never empty, and Kay or myself wouldn't have it any other way. It helps keep us young, at least in spirit. Its why I work on the computer into the early hours. Off Topic: Finished the base (Lower floor) of the 'Dolls House', taking some time-out waiting for the glue to dry. Cheers Pete |

| @Pete, Great minds think alike, I buy herring oil and put it on his food twice a day, (will keep the cod liver capsules in mind though, maybe the same idea) he stays outside all year round, hates the indoors, he sometimes digs a hole in the snow and lays in it in a storm, before anyone thinks I'm nutz he does have a doghouse with a heated floor if he should want to curl up somewhere warm. These dogs love the snow...
Thanks for the tip good buddy!
@Adam, Welcome to the darkside, use the force! I like Star Wars too! Cheers,
Lorin |

| Hi Lorin,
Yup!! I guess herring oil would be exactly the same. Just a little antidote, I also have arthritis, so Kay always buys a large tub of capsules for the dogs and myself to share, and she makes a big joke about it . Although its started to creep up on her lately, she'll need an even bigger tub Talking about snow. its started here, point of interest, did you know that Hudson Bay is roughly on the same Latitude as Swansea Bay, its only the gulf stream that keeps my city & bay slightly warmer. Its still wrap up time though. Note to our friend Ishie::: Snow:: White stuff that comes from the sky and reflects the heat back up, so its ruddy freezing. . Like Bear, my two love the stuff. Hate fireworks though. Guy Forks night (A UK celebration) is a nightmare trying to keep them calm. HI Adam, "Make it So"; Yup I'm a Trekkie, Next Generation the best. Liked Star-Wars also. Did you know that the series was based on an very old Fable, About Castor and Pollux, twins in classical mythology: Both mentioned in Greek and Roman documents. They were the twin sons of Leda and the brothers of Helen of Troy and Clytemnestra. Darth Vader's character was based on Leda and of course the twins were, Princess Lila and our hero. Today, Castor and Pollux are twin stars in the constellation Gemini. Extremely bright and can easily be seen with the naked eye. Off Topic: I haven't forgot your PM, I'll get back to you soon on that. Cheers Both Pete. EDIT:::: Sorry Lorin. That should read Longitude, Latitude is pole to pole. |

| Bear doesn't like fireworks either and worst yet it's hunting season and he goes crazy at distant gunshots. We are surrounded by forest, have to really keep your head down around here right now! Lorin |

| I got an e-mail from Servimg.com saying I have an account on that. Is that a legitimate service? I used to have an image shack account (and maybe still do) so I might try that. Either way I'll have something up in the next week or so. |
