Hi.
Yup! agree with you Ish. Its a shame we have to resort to such things though.
Those idiots (for want of a better word) really make my blood boil.
I ought to ignore them, but when decent forum users leave, it really gets to me.
OK, this is still a nice forum, so time to get off my soap-box.
Cheers
Pete.

I felt the same way, in my opinion the abuse has gone on long enough over there, and we all know who's doing it!

Since 2001, I have seen my share of morons at Auran's. However, the forum has lost something .... maybe it's me. who knows.

The Old forum had so much to give, so much information. Ask Smiley Man, who was there in the beginning as well. We had out share of wars, but it was always in-house, sort of speak. It seems now that we are getting too many youngsters who enjoy gang banging the forum for their own abusive purposes. Many young people today think that they can hide behind their IP, which, they cannot. Each IP address has an ID tag, which I will call it, which ID's your provider. But since these young people don't know this information, they feel can do whatever they want, and get away with it. Imagine if there's no law enforment... the whole place will go bananas.

Anyhow, when the forum first started out, the audience that were there were mainly made of adults, the grandfather typpes... the place was clean and respectful. That's how it was, seriously. Everyone helped out.

I feel that's all lost ... We got youngsters, we got payware forum (I know this is a bit off topic, but this has separated the forum -- people now are just looking to make a buck), and the courtesy factor is just out the window, these days!!

I am happy that Brian has opened the doors of his forum, where I can express my ideas to whoever enjoys reading them. I was at wiley4 forum, but my dear friend is sick, and I pray for him all the time. I have hanged out at Iber's, the spanish speaking forum --Alberte, and the guys over there that I have know for years, have always treated me great.

Because Auran forum is so unpredictable, it's why I come and stay here at Smiley's ... if I am alone, at least, I am at peace. However, you guys now visits this place regulatedly, so it's pleasure to hang with you guys, chat, discussion, and generally have a fun time.

Okay, enough pouring out my brains here!!
Thank you for reading this lengthy post!!

Hi All
Yup; Its nice to relax here on FCT.
I can also remember the old forum, but towards the end that went downhill fast. Just hoping that the decent folk on the current forum can solve this latest craze without taking drastic action, like dumping it.
That's my couple of pence worth, as others have stated, leave the idiots alone, they'll soon get fed up.
Cheers
Pete.
